A stormy night and a forest full of ferocious wolves have driven Maurice into the darkness of a menacing castle. The befuddled inventor is more confused than usual as he hears voices and sees movement within the darkened fortress – so perhaps he can be forgiven if he doesn't realize it's Lumiere the romantic candelabra (with bronze candlesticks and wire wicks) who lights the way.
